Who is hosting the 2024 Emmy awards?
Eugene Levy and Dan Levy of "Schitt's Creek" will host this year's awards, making history as the first father-son duo to do so, according to the Television Academy.
“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough,” the duo said in a statement announcing their gig. “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all."

With 25 nominations "Shōgun" on FX tops the list of most nominations received with FX's restaurant dramedy "The Bear" trailing closely behind with 23 nods. HBO's "True Detective: Night Country" rounds out the list with 19 nominations.
The eligibility dates for the 2024 Emmy Awards apply to shows that aired between June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024. Only shows that aired in that 12-month period were nominated.
